I was there yesterday, operations were poor. Rita and Thirteen on 1 train all day and Nemesis opened at 1PM, gained a huge queue then dropped to 1 train around 3:40. There weren’t many people on park but most coaster queues were around 30 minutes. Then the park shut at 4.
I always took the razor blade as Emily going to her dolls house to self harm. Given the hints towards child abuse throughout the ride I find the whole thing has a weirdly dark tone that goes beyond gothic horror.
When I stayed last year this was the walking route the owner advised I use. Walk through the field, over the fence opposite the staff entrance then along the service road into the VIP car park. It did feel naughty walking through the staff car park but no one challenged me.
When I was a ride op at Legoland several years ago I was told by managers to always height check kids with the wristbands on. Apparently the system is there to give kids under the height a hard no at the start of the day so they don't waste any of their time in queues. The wristband itself is...
I live near Reading about two hours drive from Dover. Drove to Dover in the evening and stayed at a hotel then got the ferry to Calais the next morning. From Calais it's 40 mins drive to Plopsaland, I stayed the whole day opening to close then drove all the way home that evening. Was well worth...
Going through OPs previous posts all of them are Reddit AITA type posts like this, very little refers to theme parks. I don't understand the motivation for joining an Alton Towers forum and only posting off topic things like this better suited to social media.
I don't have a photo of me standing in it with today's paper so you'll have to take my word [emoji14] Did feel strange to be crammed into that tiny room but the sinks and urinals here still have signs on every other one saying do not use for social distancing. In terms of the pre show it was ran...
Anyone else really bored of having this same conversation about popularity once a month? I know the queue times discussion thread is rarely a hive of scintillating conversation but c'mon Ethan, let it go mate.
Queues today felt really slow. Smiler pit was less than half full yet I queued nearly an hour, last year the whole thing took 45 minutes. What's changed because this surely can't be down to worse social distancing this season?
Six hours was not sufficient for today. I did the classic head to...
Look at the post brake run section of something like Dragon Khan or Montu. That's essentially Infernos whole layout so I can see why people don't get excited about it.
I was there this week, on Street Mission they load two cars but they still go round the ride by themselves. When the front car enters the first scene the back car waits just before the first door allowing room for the next two cars to start loading behind.
Merlin do friends and family days, I was at the Chessington one today. I had free tickets on the basis that I was a Guinea pig for the day and it was great. Tomb Blaster was shut all day and there was a fair bit of downtime but no one minded because we weren't paying and the day hadn't been...
