Any chance any of these new buildings will take Scarefest mazes out of the ruins making it more likely for public to be able to wander around them again? Or are they just more permanent buildings for existing mazes? Or is it very unclear at the moment?
There was a guy called Paul Jones who was obsessed with it in the opening year or two. Can't remember the figure but he had the record at one time at least. He was using single rider on a weekday when you could actually catch a real quiet day and an almost empty single rider queue. I doubt...
The thing is, there aren't really any walk on days anymore as they're clearly incentivizing schools to book trips on traditionally quieter days or incentivizing people through lower ticket prices on those days. So they need to cough up and staff the place properly on weekdays as well as...
I think I like a couple of those resins, but the stingeyness of my brain won't allow me to buy immediately. I already have one of the grey Hex ones which I actually prefer. I might get one of the Towers ruins ones, even though it's not very accurate lol (I know it was already there last year - I...
Now, that would be totally unethical. Just totally out of order. Anyone caught doing that should be banned from having an annual pass and RAP ever again.
Hopefully they will have been able to start meaningfully restricting RAP numbers each day by now, and certainly by then. If they are still struggling to cap numbers for May, they've got an even more severe problem than we all thought.
Basically, if you have a RAP, you just join straight into the RAP queue, which due to the new limitations is likely to be a shorter or significantly shorter wait than the main queue. It is a bit like one free fast-track a day, depending on how many punters you get in front of you in the RAP...
How times have changed.
Annual pass holders and hotel guests used to get to ride from 9am and then they'd still manage to have most of the other stuff ready for 10am for everybody. This was apparently in the bad old days of certain ownership.
Now they can hardly get anything open by 10am...
They do need that, but I don't think they're capable of doing it due to the way the place is run, and has been run. Even without Hex and Skyride to look after. But, we will see.
I wish the rain would go away. Ruining my week off (was planning a couple of non-theme park days out) and most of the other weeks. Would rather it was just cold, than getting warmer and rainier.
Yeah, it's easy to forget how much fun Wicker Man is sometimes. In the dark it's especially nice. And then Nemesis, it's definitely been missed in the line-up.
