For me it seems faster and less cluttered, I always felt that the baggage stations created choke points as groups waited to hand in all their bags and members without bags waited for them rather than allowing the line to flow freely, on the other hand the loss of the single rider queue on...
Maybe I am expecting too much for what it is? In my mind, the latest SW should be more intense, scary and thrilling than its predecessor in this case Smiler. My other problem is I am compering with 50 years+ woodies from Blackpool where the age and lack of smoothness gives a more interesting...
Fist time at the park this year, whilst I like how they have got rid of the bag stores from Thirteen and smiler, the 11 am coaster openings is a joke! The cuts seem more noticeable then ever this year.
Finally got on this today, have to say I was quite disappointed, whilst the theming is amazing the ride has no thrill factor, was a bit boring and is nothing more than a glorified runaway mine train!
Picked this up the other day on sale on steam, I have a lot to learn in building custom coasters lol, getting the chairlifts to work seems problematic haha.
So yeah, a major area is closed till 12, god help the lines on Spinball, wicker, smiler and Rita in the morning. They probably hate the fact that nemisis was walk on in the morning the last few seasons.
Was meh about the wickerman themeing, but after seeing the promos today I actually like it. The world's first is silly though, I wish they would just promote it for what it is.
Yes, maybe a digital download format may be more effective being cheaper to produce.
I don't know who owns the rights to IMA scores, if Alton/Merlin does that's fine, but if IMA does that could complicate issues, especially if IMA and Merlin had a fallout in the future.
Ultimately I suspect walk in gateprices are so high to subsidise the cheaper 2 for 1 deals and annual pass holders.
Plus people seem prepared to pay it, so why drop it. People like us who complain about the price most likely never pay it as we are as we are astute enough to take advantage of...
I think they will settle for automated low energy units in the long run.
For me the greatest issue is the horrid window transfers and the uncomfortable seats that sit you facing strangers.
The queue times are getting a joke now tbh especially Galactica, smiler and thirteen and Rita seeming random fast track allocation doesn't help. Whist the queues are not as bad as Disneyland Paris its still wastes most of your day standing in line. The fact that Nemasis and Oblivion can handle...
Yeah, they wernt using all the tills when I was there, but even withe the ones they had open they could have been double speed if more efficient. Automatic intoractive pay points would have been nice to.
Wow, I kinda imagined the big US and Tokyo Disneylands, would be packing in a few world class thrill rides.
I think they should consider more to cater for older Disney fans.
Lol about service in France, it is dreadful out there as if your an inconvenience =p.
Went today, hove to say it wasn't the best experience, It lacks new Disney film attractions, the customer service is poor and there is hardly any thrill rides. Alton is a lot better!
I gave up watching it as it was to reliant of pit and flipper victories, like others have said it should be last robot standing, ban strong armour to so robots will get torn apart and ban flippers to.
