I have a gold pass but the mrs and kids have silver
The only time i've known towers sell out was this opening weekend...you can struggle for london midways unless booked in advance but everything else is fine and i've never known gold be available and silver not
We go down to the southern...
Who's idea was it to close the courtyard bar after the fireworks last night!?
Last few years we've popped in for a couple to let the crowd die down then worked our way back to the hotel getting a few rides in as we do....it's like they don't want people's money
I believe tower street bar...
Took from MAP facebook page....it's something they started not long ago
Decent deal really as AT hotel cost me £204 for family of 4 and firework upgrade would've been £100 on its own...staying sunday
Has anyone booked a hotel with a merlin pass on a blacked out date?
You now get entry on the date so just wondering how you get this....i've read you have to go to the hotel to get a printed ticket...but also read you show passes and booking at the gates and get in that way
We're going...
I was at thorpe first fright night sunday and me and the mrs was having a pint outside to the left of VIBES
Someone sparked a joint up a few tables away from us...the security came and booted them out very quickly...no idea where they came from but it was pretty impressive
I ended up in that last year i think....i mentioned it somewhere and apparently a door had been forced open so you could walk to places in the towers you shouldn't be able too
We're going to thorpe park next sunday for our daughters 16th birthday...staying over in the shark 'hotel'
We've been a handfull of times ourselves and never had a bad experience....first weekend of fright nights though and i'm reading it's a dodgy day to visit on...i thought that only happened...
It had actually only just reopened....was down for ages and we came off twistatron and it reopened as we was passing...so what should have been about 10 minutes wait ended up a lot longer
Although i'd rather have a longer wait than be covered in sick tbh:D
Saw something i've never seen before today in the smiler queue...
Somebody was sick on the ride while it was moving...we was a few foot from entering the building and it came down showering the queue line to the left of us
Quite a few got hit with it but one lad had it on his head and all the...
We're having a few day in blackpool first week of the school holidays
I know it's a bit of a silly question but i seem to recall fridays being less busy on BPB....am i remembering right?
I went on it on sunday and was worried as have big thighs from cycling
I don't have a problem on spinball or wickerman but it really was touch and go on sub-terra
The ride ops had to lean over me pushing down really hard and asking everyone on my side to also push down...took a couple of...
It's not been looking good this week at all has it
We're due to go sunday too...wouldn't normally be the end of the world as we have MAPS anyway but we're taking our daughters mate with us ans it'll be her first time
Weather warning of storms now too so the outlook could be even worse
I live pretty near york so we've done it a few times
The dick turpin finale and witch room can both be superb depending on the actors in them on the day...the witch room especially...probably my favorite room of all the dungeons
The 'keep the southerners out' room can be pretty comical too
