I think this is a positive move as the area as it stands is a waste of space because its not getting used. The indoor seating will give people who aren't riding SW8 somewhere to sit especially if it's covered over. Put it this ways its better than standing there being empty. Be positive!
Maybe with forbidden valley scare zone being removed the scare maze may be in that area of the park but I was also hoping it would be themed to sw8 to give us some clues.
When Towers filed the wicker man thing could that have been for Scarefest maybe?
Overall, I am happy mine tours is back I enjoyed it last year. Thought Terror of the Towers was really weak so hope they've improved it in parts.
Also a shame if Freak Show is the only scare zone as thought it was boring and got repetitive once you'd been in a few times. Hope there is another...
Although I do feel Th13teen's single rider queue needs better managing. Was there about 2 weeks ago and people were joining single rider and then merging with general queue at the baggage hold area, frustrating when the queue was already very long they were getting a free fast track really. Told...
Anyone know if Lightwater Valley will be doing a weekend of offers this year for people who live close by? Got in for £12 last summer for living in a TS postcode. Other than that are there any deals? think £60 for a family of three is expensive considering what is on offer.
Question:
Has anyone ever stayed in Addlestone near Thorpe Park? Seen a new Premier inn being built there on the website and was wondering if its worth staying. Have made the mistake a few times of booking premier inn and it being in an awful place overrun with chavs and drunks - don't want it...
I visited today...what a mistake! Got there for ERT and managed to do Oblivion and join Smiler queue before 10 and get on it within half an hour by the time I got off it was a 2 hour queue. Did Thirteen single rider and there was loads of queue jumping. Little **** joining single rider and then...
I got asked for ID yesterday at splash landings but don't know why I stayed in that dump. I was really disappointed! As for security CBeebies Land Hotel had bouncers on the door and wouldn't let me go for a little look around.
Thanks, really gutted about that as enjoyed it last time and it was reasonably priced, tried rollercoaster restaurant last time and while it was nice thought it was a bit over priced and 'gimmicky'. Sure i'll find somewhere.
EDIT:
Just checked AT website and it's still on there, i suppose...
Couldn't find anywhere to post this so correct me if it's in the wrong place.
Is the pizza place still open in Splash Landings Hotel? If not can anyone recommend anywhere to eat after park close?
