I think the actual volume of the cinema room is fine, just the EQ needs changing. They need to turn up the low end (bass) and turn down the high end (treble). If it's required they could add a subwoofer behind the screen.

It's almost like they read the forums, oh they do!

They should of kept the original subwoofers if they want bother with getting new ones.

The heritage soundtrack would work better in that area.

I completely agree with this. In terms of sound quality, Ohm have the potential to sound better if set-up correctly. In terms of weatherproofing, Bose's older equipment can last 20+ outdoors. 100v is a lot more than plugging speakers in then turning a amplifier on and expecting high quality...

The only Merlin park that still uses Bose speakers is LEGOLAND and that's not all the time. Thorpe Park uses EV speakers Chessignton uses Yamaha I went to towers for my first time in over 5 years last Friday. I think the Ohm speakers sound incredible, but I'm not sure how long they will last...

I wonder how much better the new sound system will be. The existing Bose system always had great sound, even in 2015 when the ride was generally in a poor state.
