Sounds like a complete nightmare excuse the pun.
I was there on the 9th and it was generally a good atmosphere with the odd one occasion but security were straight on the case. Unfortunately you seem to get that one day usually during fright nights where a certain group of individuals descend...
Went on walking dead the other day and in a nut shell it was ok. I didn't expect anything too exciting as I thought this might be planned as a temporary attraction, so I didn't expect state of the art animatronics or actors on the trains.
It will be great for fright nights as I'd expect them...
Went back to Alton Towers last Sunday for the first time in a couple of years and we got everything done by half three, including multiple rides on The Smiler and Nemesis. It's sad to see the park so quiet even though it's a bonus with no queues. The place is in much need of a couple of shows...
Backwards facing back rows, or side facing back rows
Some new merch would be nice but as Matthew said I don't expect anything as Nemesis is probably a one off. Would love to see something like a talk they did with Nemesis though, be interesting to know more in how it all came about with...
For a family coaster it looks pretty intense, would love to see a park here get something like that. Lapbars are becoming more common as well which I think make such a difference.
Well I say beautiful and works nicely!
I went here last year and to be fair the park is pretty pants in general as there's not a lot to do. But their coasters were great fun so this will be a nice addition, Macks always are anyway
I'm wondering now if Slammer will be sold to another park or just dismantled? Definitely an intense experience but not a pleasant one for me so I'm not sorry to see it go, it's Loggers I'm more concerned about.
I agreed with Danny Murphy on MOTD that maybe fouls in the box at least should be reviewed and players punished for diving, it's the only solution if they want to clamp down on it. It's very difficult for the referees during the game to make a split second decision. Unfortunately for Swansea and...
I can't comment on an RMC because I'm yet to ride one, they seem to be the norm at the moment in the states. Despite that, Big Dipper and Grand National I hope never get that treatment. Classic coasters are very rare these days and I still enjoy the old school experience shall we say.
This is a possibility with Ghostbusters 5D at Heide Park this year. I've not been on Duel in over year but can imagine it's in a bit of a state and could do with a refurbishment or a rebrand.
I think so many people in this thread have hit the nail on the head as to why EP is the best in this industry, it is the closest to theme park perfection. I'm sure majority of enthusiasts wish every theme park in the world was like EP for their passion of the industry and operations at least. If...
Do agree with Spike whenever a dive machine is announced it's quite predictable what the layout will be roughly. This is one of the better layouts though and does suit the park perfectly.
Really enjoyed this weekend! Just want to thank you all for making me feel welcome, you seem like a bunch of lovely people.
Despite Merlin's fails I had a great time and was even better with the glorious weather.
Sweet thanks for the info. I'm probably the biggest newbie of them all. Still planning to attend both days, lets hope for good weather. Just to be sure, are we meeting by the turnstile entrance, or the one by the car park?
It's got better reviews this time round than last season anyway so a glimmer of hope there, but I doubt it will change my opinion of it. It's just not an enjoyable experience, and I don't see VR as the future of dark rides or theme park attractions at all. I can't see any theme park following...
We will have some great views to see the construction process for SW8. I'll echo that I'm getting excited for this as well, even though it's classed as a family GCI they are my favorite wooden coaster manufacturers. To be getting this and a Mack Mega next year is a real treat.
