I think the fact that there is around 7 people watching it and one of the crew members trying to get the clapping going says it all really. Terrible. I appreciate the effort but this is just not Alton Towers.

Or people who want to collect but can’t visit the park due to other commitments. Personally, I don’t see anything wrong with selling things like park maps online. At the end of the day, if people are happy to buy them, I.e. if the demand is there, why not?

No, it’s still 2 per vehicle in wet conditions.

It’s not really that effective anymore though since the manufacturer changed the regs so that only 2 passengers can be loaded in wet conditions. Most groups are either 2 or 4 anyway so SRQ is only really useful for Spinball when it is operating normally.

It’s a scary and upsetting time. I think we need to prepare for the worst as I can’t see the park surviving past 2020 if it stays on it’s current track.

I just don’t understand why the Rapids are set to be closed throughout the entire Easter holidays?! It’s a peak time for families...

I really do hope I wake up from this never ending nightmare of Merlin slowly pullin Alton Towers apart. This park means so much to me, I have so many memories there and it is such a shame to see it being decapitated. I hate to say it but I don’t think they will recover from these recent years...
