He was at the season launch event last March, he wasn’t as big back then but from my conversation with him he seems to be a very humble and likeable chap. Definitely deserves the success he’s getting.

Pretty sure the launch is tyre drive, which makes it even easier to guide it into the maintenance shed.

That’s shockingly bad, I’ve never seen the place with such poor ride availability. They must be really struggling to get staff in.

It was only knackered because they couldn’t afford to maintain it. If they had kept on top of it then it would have been good for many more years.

I wish I could see what the park would look like now if it was still owned by the Bryan’s and they never had the money troubles they had. I imagine we never would’ve lost Apocalypse for a start.

It closed a couple of days into the 2015 season, remaining untouched until the end of the season when it was fully drained, never to re-open. Some people may remember the ‘Closed for Maintenance’ sign that was positioned outside the main doors for the entire 2015 season.

You’d be surprised how many people ask about it on social media, Trip Advisor, forums, or to staff in the park.

Just because a Zamperla branded box is located within that area doesn’t mean the 2024 coaster will be from Zamperla… it could have been used to ship a part from one of the parks many Zamperla rides. Didn’t manage to get down today, but did make it to the season launch party last night. Victoria Lynn spoke about the events they were hosting this year; the coronation ‘street party’ event in May sounds really interesting so will definitely try and get there for that. Did the Party Bingo event...

Have the supports definitely been repainted or just jet washed? Looks really good regardless. Drayton have always been good at their closed season maintenance and keeping everything looking fresh.

I believe some of those trees are protected and cannot be cut down. The big one opposite Showdown is one of these I think.

There’s been a lot of rumours circling that it will be an Intamin. Hopefully a Blitz, although I’m not sure if this would be out of their budget.

When I rode it on Saturday the vault volume still seemed a lot quieter than it used to be. Have they turned it up in the days since?
