I go once a year so unfortunately don't have the will to make a stand against Merlin by standing glumly in a queue line because the park can't be run for shit. Yeah it's not ideal but I'll take the easy option thanks.
I was there last Saturday and overall I'd say we had a goodday but we only managed to do the majors plus the Rapids. We all agreed next time we go we'd just get a fast pass (which I hate the thought of us and them but it's the only way to have a day that isn't completely rushed). There's lesser...
Why do the other rides need batching hosts? I’ve never come across one on Nemesis (IIRC) and the public seem more than capable of filing the gates as required, even waiting until the gates are empty before filling.
If it wasn’t for this forum I wouldn’t have a clue they even had a new ride. Do they advertise Nationslly or locally?
It’s kind of made me more aware of the marketing for Wickemam. Even a packet of crisps on a supermarket shelf is great advertising.
That’s why I loved Ripsaw as it was such a show and generally a great area in the park with a good atmosphere - people watching from afar laughing at the people screeching on the ride as they got soaked. The splash zone to get the ones that weren’t riding. It’s the little things like that that...

Would be interesting to see if the the negative feedback correlates with a drop in sales from food and stalls etc.
Can’t imagive many being inspired to pay over the odds for a lunch when they’ve had to queue an hour to get into the park and then...
Not saying in anyway Graffiti is acceptable but a nice fast moving queue would stop people getting so bored they feel the need to get a pen out. But alas.
Re: [The Smiler] Ride Reviews (Spoilers!)
I think you completely missed the point of half the stuff going on. The Smiler TV is quite obviously tongue in the cheek rather than another chance to up-sell.
I think some kind of soft launch today would be better so they can iron out any of the inevitable problems that will arise when operated under load.
Great news though.
I really doubt this has anything to do with H&S. It will have just been used as an all encompassing excuse just to palm people off so they can temporarily get outraged about Health and Safety for a few days without revealing the actual problem.
