    Potential New Universal UK Park

Heide is 4 hours away from Phantasialand and 5 hours from Efteling and Tivoli Gardens. The London parks are about 5 hours by train from DLP, Mirabilandia is about 2 hours from Gardaland They're not exactly next door to each other, but within that 6 hour range!

    Potential New Universal UK Park

Is it just me who doesn't really want UK IPs? I like the idea of a LOTR and Bond areas, but when I think of Universal, I think of their classic IPs like Jaws, Back to the Future, ET, Classic Monsters, Jurassic Park etc. It's probably because as well that I don't like Doctor Who full stop and...

    Potential New Universal UK Park

I don't disagree with your general point, but it'll be dead easy for me to get there by train ;) Then again I suppose I'm one of the lucky ones!

What is your favourite coaster drop in the UK?

If the rest of the Big One was as good as the first drop, it'd be one of the best coasters out there Blivvy is a classic. I think it's still my favourite dive coaster because the drop is so creative and most of the others lack the same kind of bite And it's not really a "drop" in the...

    ES Voltron Viewage: 30th March - 4th April 2024

I've had a change of plans. I'll be at the park on the 1st of April too! However as I'm not staying on resort, I can't get a 3 day ticket. Any advice?

    Potential New Universal UK Park

I think Universal are clever enough to think outside the box when it comes to getting people and will probably be exploring those options now. I think one good idea would be to upgrade Ridgmont station, which is two stops down the line from Kempston Hardwick, to build like a park and ride there...

    Potential New Universal UK Park

Hopefully the trains will do a decent amount of lifting, especially if Wixams gets built. Kempston Hardwick needs an upgrade of some kind however

What ride do you have the most intangible love for?

Speed of Sound at Walibi Holland purely for the soundtrack From: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6XPtPbHs6k (The ride itself is actually really solid too)

    Planet Coaster 2 Speculation

A good friend of mine works for Frontier and she said a while back she was working on a new game. She didn't say what it was because of her NDA but I always suspected it was Planet Coaster 2. It's a much needed sequel, the first game is fun but I think a lot of the stuff like the pathing, ride...

    Potential New Universal UK Park

Disney's deal with the French government states that they must build a 3rd park by 2036 so it's not surprising to hear this if it's indeed true. Paris in general needs investment in the main park badly too and hopefully if Universal happens it will motivate them

Stealth or Red Force; which European Intamin launch coaster do you prefer?

In the year 2023, Stealth has technically been the best coaster in the UK :D

What is the ride (if any) that you have regretted going on after the ride finished?

I actually don't really "regret" riding anything in the vain of "Christ that was horrific, why did I ride that?" There is stuff I will never go on again, but I like to try out crap as it makes you appreciate the good coasters more and it makes for a more memorable park visit in itself I have...

    2024 Theme Park Trip Plans

This is the first time since 2015 I've not had any major theme park trips abroad in the works. I'm going to the Olympics in Paris this year but no creds will be involved. I won't go empty handed though, I'd like to visit both Mingo Land and Oakwood as they are the two remaining UK parks that I...
