My plan for Thorpe Park in the future

Yeah, I know that they had a couple of years as a family park, but since the late 90's, the park has really changed that image. I'd like them to continue down this road, as I think it's what they're good at doing. Not every park has to be family-orientated or return to their old style. I know as...

Rank Thorpe Park's Coasters- Best to Worst

Generally straight forward. Rank all the major roller coasters at Thorpe in the order you prefer them. Start with the cream of the crop, and end with the rollercoaster equivalent of the movie 'The Last Airbender'. (In other words, the crappiest). My ranking: 1. The Swarm 2. Colossus 3. Saw 4...

    Heide Park

Colossos is a sequel to Wicker Man? Aside from the logo (which looks similar) I don't think this is going to happen, haha

This park looks incredible. Everything from the Oblivion sequel to their wing coaster Raptor...I need to book a flight to Italy.

    Your Top Ten Coasters

Currently: 10) Space Mountain- a classic. Had to be on this list considering it was one of the very first roller coasters I ever rode. The blue light tunnel at the beginning just hypes you up, and the fact that it's almost entirely in the dark makes things even the smallest of drops completely...

    Best Drop Towers?

This might be considered cliché, but Tower of Terror. Hands down. Not a huge fan of drop towers myself but everything just fits together so well on that ride.

What developments will happen after 2018?

Personally, I'd like to see something proper in the place where Ripsaw used to be, like a different sort of flat ride. (I'd actually like to see Ripsaw back tbh). Rita could either be replaced or rennovated to become a much better launched coaster. And yes, Cloud Cuckoo Land will likely get a...

People rubbishing Wickerman as inferior to ICON

People may say this, but the reality is that both rides are QUALITY. Wicker Man, while it may not be the most thrilling coaster, is an incredible experience. Combined with a coaster? That's next level. Icon, even though it's got less theming, is an exhilarating thrill coaster, and POV's on...

Ant McPartlin - Saturday Night Takaway

I love Ant & Dec, they're a massive part of my earlier life. Almost everything they were in that I watched was cool. But I'll say this: Takeaway and A+D are the ONLY good things about ITV. In fact, it's probably the only reason I've ever watched it for! Well them, Holly & Schofe. Ever since...

Welcome - New members introduce yourself here!

Hi, I'm Jack from the UK. I love writing/recording music, planning events and sharing ideas for theme parks, as well as obviously riding coasters. My favourite coasters are The Swarm, Rock N Roller & Wicker Man. Favourite park has to be either IOA, Thorpe or Alton. That's about it, I think.

Ah, thanks. I'll introduce myself on the intro page in a bit. Not too sure about that, though (it'd be a literal dream if it did):D

My plan for Thorpe Park in the future

Yeah. They'd need to be spaced out evenly, it wouldn't all just happen at once. (Tbh i wasn't really thinking about the years I was more so focusing on the rides haha) And yes, another good spot. An RMC steel/wood hybrid coaster.

My plan for Thorpe Park in the future

To be honest, to me, Thorpe Park has never really been that much of a family-orientated sort of park. They may have had rides of that caliber in the past, but it has always really made the park look kind of tacky. Alton have always done a great job when it comes to those sorts of attractions...
