    Grime?

There’s no point in just putting thick paint over a knackered fence or shabby building. It’ll still be a knackered fence and shabby building.

    2020: General Discussion

State of the park aside, I think there’s too much unavailable at the minute. in CBeebies this weekend, no Octonauta, Justin’s, Mr Bloom, Charlie & Lola’s or Furchester. That’s about 30% of what’s on offer in there. in the main park, the frog hopper has gone, as has the carousel, being...

    Grime?

And the grass on the ITNG boat ride hasn’t been cut for a month. And is full of weeds. At Disney, it’s be like a snooker table.

    Grime?

Take the num tums. Had a full re-paint and re-theme yet they didn’t even clean the floor. And I noticed foot high weeds growing in the cracks between kerbs when queuing to get parked earlier.

    Larger people on rides

It’s the leg restraints that I find most uncomfortable on Galactica. Really hurt my shins. Thirteen is tight for me, due to big quads. Nemesis needs a bit of a shove to get the belt in.

    Scarefest 2019

Went again on Saturday and had a good time. The whole square area near Hex is a missed opportunity. As it is all year. Should be so much better. The general levels of lighting are still poor. Though more external f&b providers have turned up in the fortnight since we were last there...

I’m 6’3” and spinball is so uncomfortable. Not as bad as colossus, mind, as I don’t fit in that at all despite best efforts Done ever bother queuing for Pandemonium at Drayton. I was some way off fitting at 6’3”. Shockwave wasn’t much better.

    2019: General Discussion

I crossed my legs on wickerman the other week and it was really uncomfortable on my shins. I’ve fitted in before, but the bar didn’t go all the way down as I had a pocket full of passes. Gave them to the op and he told me to cross my legs.

    Scarefest 2019

Seemed to be mostly yellow lighting near wickerman and Towers St. and not exactly on silent running generators.

    Scarefest 2019

It’s a PMAP. The reader wouldn’t let her in and said the park was full. The guy on the gate then said the same thing. But I agree, it didn’t seem that full yesterday.

    Scarefest 2019

We were in priority parking yesterday. The wife nipped back to the car at 3 and her hand was stamped. When trying to get back in, she scanned her pass and the reader wouldn’t let her in saying the park was full. Thankfully, she had the hand stamp (and a chap on the gate recognised she’d just...

There’s every chance they could be full by 1.

Say what now? We’re going tomorrow and have saved the vouchers for our friends especially for the occasion.

Being a billionaire.... and buying a themepark

I’d buy an established park. Strip the flats out, reduce staff numbers, reduce food quality, increase prices, stagger opening times, reduce opening hours. Then I’d tell you all how lucky you are.

Yes, open fire doors, I *think* new arches, but not 100%, and green and white stickers everywhere. Room on the broom was just as bed yesterday. Spoke to an opthat said to escort people (and operate as it should) takes 4 members of staff. They’re now only allowed 2 so one sits behind the desk...
