Would be a nice little edition. There is something calming about a model railway. Pity they binned that off n'all.

You will walk around handing the werthers out!! The steam train, should be seen as a little reminder of how far the park has come in the 30+ years of operation and change in dynamic and culture of Britain in that time. Although it's a loss, it's also a gain as I've always enjoyed a little walk...

I saw frozen empire on Friday night. Ghostbusters is the one franchise, if it can be called that. That I will consume everything on and buy anything related to it. It's good. Not to same scale as afterlife, but it's good. My concern was over too much fan service, they just kept it at bay. It's...

I always associate little trains like this as something you did with the grandparents. Alton Towers these days isn't exactly swimming In old retired couples, clutching a picnic bag just there for the day out.

Live music, gigs, and concerts discussion.

I know this is a place for music gigs. Last Sunday I went to see Ross Noble at the Leeds grand theatre. Amazing comic, and one that is different to the rest. Very odd the cuff which I like. Gives every show a different look and feel.

He does follow some bad trends. Sometimes he can have his face on shots too long. Having said that, he does do a wide range of topics and it's not just theme parks. I only came across him because he's local to where I live. Some interesting stuff about the old quarry incident at St.aidens and...

I really like this bloke. I've mentioned him in a post a further up. (Poor opening day blog.) Which is unlike him. But, I will forgive him for this. Should check him out if you haven't already. Did a couple of videos on the old American adventure site that was fascinating. He does a good editing...

    Monorail Refurbishment

But it's not a mass transit system. It's a simply little system built to move a 1000ish people from point a to point b. Someone has said, you can't have a walkthrough train. To achieve this would mean spending even further beyond the budget. The current stock would need scrapping altogether and...

    Monorail Refurbishment

Having lived in the isle of dogs for a bit, I can confirm 1987 as the opening date. Plus, the DLR still has a member of staff on board at all times, that can take over control of the train at any time and for the obvious emergencies since the stations are unmanned. Singapore and wherever else...

Proper investment for me would be getting it run on solar power if not all ready. Two huge roofs that can give you a little tipple of the good sun stuff. The trains look awful now. I've not been inside one for a few years so dunno the state, but last time it was looking a little worn out...

    Talbot Street Video Archive

I follow a lad called advertureme. Mostly because he does alot of history In and around Leeds. Usually very good and he Actually filmed where I walk my dog. He fell for the poor tropes about opening day. Although, he has a chance to redeem himself because he was filming some history stuff Sunday.

Sodding off to Italy because "it will do wonders for my health." Then dying over there because....... It doesn't. I'd love to know how much was spent overall by Pugin to get it up to spec. I know I've said it was all for show, but I bet it was one hell of show in its day. Hats off aswell they...

Nice little tour that. Well put together again mate. They really do miss a trick not opening the house up. The thing I always get from it, I could be wrong after only seen the images, for a grand house it appears very tight. Fully decorated it must have been amazing. But not spacious. You...

I think the difference with Brighton and Brentford is the structure will stay in place. They won't overspend at all no matter who is there because the owners simply won't allow. If you look up the phrase bitter in the dictionary a picture of goodison park is there.

Too big for your boots. We saw last year with west ham. Being in Europe is all well and good. As klopp and Pep often talk about. The toll it takes on the squad is very damaging. Even for clubs like Liverpool and city. Players need to be managed. Leicester downfall started the second that...

    Football Discussion

There nothing wrong with ambition. Right way and wrong way to do it. Brighton and Brentford have had a similar model where they build slowly. Buy cheap and sell on, whilst always on the look out for the next bargain to bring forward. That's the right way. How all clubs should be run. Leicester...

The PL are going over everything with the finest of tooth combs. This is such a complex case by all accounts. I've already mentioned the rumour of pep being paid bonuses by the sponsors and not the club to avoid FFP. They need to get this bang on. The other argument that has been said to many...
