    Blackpool Pleasure Beach: 2021 Discussion

I'm looking on doing two days at Pleasure Beach next year. Does anyone know the cheapest way to do this? Is there a 2 day pass? I can't seem to find anything on the website was just wondering.

    Blackpool Pleasure Beach: 2021 Discussion

Visited for the very first time and did two days. Absolutely loved it! The sun was shining (most the time), queues were decent and operations were great for the most part. Here's my thoughts on the rides: Icon: Absolutely loved this. Did it nine times over the two days and can confirm it's my...

Zack Snyder's Justice League: Absolutely phenomenal. The fact that Warner Bros restricted his vision for so long is beyond me. I can see how four hours is too long for some people but there's a lot of content here to keep everyone engaged. Whedon's cut was too rushed and lackluster mess. This...

    Blackpool Pleasure Beach: 2021 Discussion

I'm looking to rebook a trip to PB, I'm currently looking into midweek in June. Is this a good time to go? I've heard some rides like River Caves which I'd love to do might be closed. Any help would be appreciated, cheers!

    2021: General Discussion

It's a strange decision. Why not just install a themed flat? This just looks kinda tacky and would kill the X-Sector vibe imo.

    Thorpe Park: General Discussion

If true, they can't be too confident on the Black Mirrot attraction which isn't a good sign. We'll have to see when/if (genuinely think 'if' is an option knowing Thorpe) it opens.

    Thorpe Park: General Discussion

Booked to visit in April, hopefully will be quiet as it's out of the school holidays. No matter what my criticism of Thorpe's decisions have been, it's always a fun visit!

So I've been binging the original Star Trek films with my Dad. Here's a brief summary of them: Star Trek: The Motion Picture: The magic is there with the original cast reuniting and some interesting character arcs but the plot is severely lacking. It's an awkward bridge of the show into movie...

I think at this point Blade will outlive Enterprise; I was watching that last year and it was going at a depressingly slow speed.

    What are you listening to?

Since watching their livestream last week, I've been listening to a lot of The Hives. I've seen a lot of gigs but they are hands down one of the strongest live acts out there. The explosive energy and tightness is insane. Here's a classic:

Name a song that mentions Theme Parks, Rollercoasters or the like

Kiss - Rocket Ride (I know it only has ride in the title and no context to the actual purpose of the song but it'll do).

Wonder Woman 1984: This had potential but ultimately it was a major disappointment. It was heavily forgettable; the plot was lazy, there was too much unnecessary talking, the CGI at points was laughable and there was just no excitement. The most enjoyable element was definitely Gal Gadot and...

    Coronavirus

I think the vaccine has provided us with some hope. That being said, I know there was no other option, but after this lockdown is over whether it's mid-February, March or early April, everyone's immune system is going to be so low from the lack of social interaction for months. Let's hope that...

From what I've heard the end of March is the tiers being ended which we're expected to enter in mid February or beginning of March. It's all dependent on what tier Towers is in. I can see it being very likely that opening day will go ahead. We'll see though.

Tenet (6/10): In all honesty, I had high expectations being a fan on Nolan but I was left with mixed emotions here. My main issue was the writing. It was far too over-complicated for a plot that at the core is very simplistic. Throughout the majority of the film you're left feeling lost but...

Booked a stay at Pleasure Beach for the last weekend in March next year (hopefully if all is good with covid) for the first time. If anyone has any tips on where to start to dodge excessive queues it'd be appreciated, we're only there for a day so want to try to get on everything!

Not surprised the majority are in tier 3 tbh. We'll just have to wait and see how it pans out. I can't see this "two week review" really making a difference, I think the majority will move tiers in January. It is what it I guess.
