I also hope that they do not rush to open the ride in May if it looks like they are going to miss that deadline. I believe it would be a bad call to make on such a significant investment to the park and that they need concentrate on extracting 100% of it's potential.
With regards to the sensor on the track, I would assume that's got something to do with "The Marmaliser"? In the game that's just before the marmalisation transparency section with smile, joy etc and the giant syringes :twirly: Could be wrong though of course!
Like you say, we will just have to wait and find out. Th13teen was also closed today so maybe they decided not to open the whole park to JL and/or haven't got completely ready for the main season yet, fingers crossed!
Unfortunately I have nothing new to report on construction after 'John Lewis day', they couldnt get anywhere near X-Sector :/
Not sure what this means for opening day...
Damn it just noticed something, I meant "I doubt THEY would let you..." oops :P
Annnywayys!
I like your idea Barry, in principle of course as you said, only joking... >:D
LOL! :P
Yeah it is pretty crazy :/ . Snow would also be crazy too! The last thing we need is more delays to construction (I don't know actually, does snow affect ride construction?) Probably wouldn't be significant snowfall anyway.
Regarding the Iron (that made me laugh! :P ) I doubt you would let you...
A friend of mine works for John Lewis, they have got AT to themselves tomorrow (lucky people! :P ) so I'll ask them to take a good look at The Smiler. This is assuming they get close enough that is! If oblivion is open this should be achievable even if it is from a slight distance.
Do any forum...
It reminds me of the instant wins on the National Lottery website, i.e. as soon as you choose to spin the wheel the system decides whether you will be a winner, regardless of the way it is spun etc.
The fact you have to be connected to the internet sort of reinforces this as a high probability.
I can appreciate they have tried to make an 'exciting' and 'fun' way of maybe winning a prize. But it does seem a pointless exercise with so little winners and prizes. Maybe they just should have done an "enter your details here to take part in our prize draw, we'll be in touch by this date if...
Just letting you know I can't make the meet because of unforeseen circumstances. Gutted :( but what can you do?!
Hope you all have a good time, I'm even more determined to come to the next one! :)
:twirly:
Great analysis James! Thanks for taking the time to do that :)
The yellow and black logo is great, does anyone think they would consider making a physical version of it for the main entrance? Just a thought :twirly:
