    Orlando Feb 2024

SeaWorld: We went on President day so I had booked quick queue tickets as soon as they became available for $20 each before they raised the price closer to the time, as I know it can get busy there on bank holidays. Pipeline: We hit this one first and was on the second train of the day. Great...

    Orlando Feb 2024

We arrived back yesterday from our 11 night stay at Endless Summer- Surfside and had a great time. We decided to have more of a Universal focused holiday this time around but still managed to have a single day at each of Busch, SeaWorld, Epcot and a visit to Hollywood Studios at an After hours...

What ride do you have the most intangible love for?

Spaceship Earth for me. Epcot is my happy place since I first went as a 5 year old in 1988 and whenever stepping foot into the park, it just makes me emotional. It's the only full park Disney day we're doing later this month as I don't think I could ever visit a Orlando without going there. The...

What is the ride (if any) that you have regretted going on after the ride finished?

Forbidden Journey. Absolutely finished me off and I refused to go on it in LA last year and will not be going on it in Orlando next month. The wife said I looked green when I came off it and it took me a good three hours to feel okay again.

Six Flags and Cedar Fair to Merge

Yes the company will operate under six flags but that doesn't mean they will be required to have their name in the front of the all the theme parks? Unless I'm missing something that I haven't read?

Six Flags and Cedar Fair to Merge

I get the fact they put their name in front of their own parks in the current set up; However, parks such as Knott's, Cedar Fair etc are very strong brands in their own right, I just can't see them adding Six Flags to their name. Also bearing in mind it's the Cedar CEO leading the company...

Six Flags and Cedar Fair to Merge

Whoever called Knott's Berry Farm...Cedar Fair Knott's Berry Farm? Having been there 12 months ago and speaking to a few locals, they all just referred to it as Knott's.

Or Mickey and Minnie's which would be an easy win for the main park.

    Disneyland Paris: General Discussion

I would like to see them possibly build an indoor water park similar to the Europa Park offering, with sections outside for summer. I think some people underestimate the appetite of a water park day especially for Children.

    Thorpe Park: General Discussion

Mingo has comedy value though due to them clearly not giving a shit. Also can someone explain to me how the hi-vis jackets of the Thorpe Park security guards have got so dirty?

    Thorpe Park: General Discussion

So finally got the opportunity to visit yesterday for the first time and even though my expectations were low, I just kept looking at the wife with the tune of "This place is a shit hole, I want to go home" ringing in my head all day. A couple of positives: The Swarm - although felt it needed...

Any tips for a first time visitor to Brean Theme Park?

There are more tracksuits in Brean then JD Sports nationwide.... enjoy!

    Merlin Annual Pass

Question - When they scan your passes when entering a park do they see a picture of the individual? Reason why, is we are taking my eldest son's friend with us to Thorpe in a couple of weeks rather than our youngest and didn't know whether we could get away using his pass rather than buying an...

Which major theme park have you gone the longest without visiting?

Busch Gardens, First visited as a 5 year old in 1988. Next Visited with my 9 and 5 years olds in 2019. 31 years it is. Although we went Florida 4 times in between those visits we never went back to Busch Garden until I was put in charge of the itinerary.

Matt N’s Frolic in Florida 10th-24th June 2023

I'm not surprised. I smashed my leg when trying to exit the vehicle. Whoever designed the trains at Premier, clearly has an issue with average size humans.

Matt N’s Frolic in Florida 10th-24th June 2023

Thanks Matt, really enjoyed reading the trip report and has me more excited for when we go back in February. To be honest after watching the reviews on Pipeline it was probably one of the main reasons for us to go back to Seaworld, so it will be interesting to see what my initial feelings are...

Matt, Are you not undertaking a day at Aquatica? Personally I could take it or leave but my lads ( Their a bit weird) adore the place and is their one must visit place when we go back in Feb.

    Chessington World of Adventures Resort

I have to agree their attempt at Mardi Gras is nothing short of pathetic. Your either all in or just don't bother at all.
