Unfortunately, I'm inclined to agree with you. The stuff on the Marmaliser should affect the ride experience in some way, so I'd imagine we've got the leg ticklers and the back prodders on the trains that will set off as you go past the correct "leg", and the mist, hypno swirls and flashing...
