Re: [The Smiler] Construction Updates and Ride Speculation Part 2
Tbh I don't think they have time to pull any stunts whatsoever, this seems like they'll be cutting it close!
First, great job nemesis94, it looks great.
Second, how much space is there in the building for show scenes etc. , seeing as this seems likely to play a part in the ride?
Re: Secret Weapon 7 Discussion Continued
Looking at those pictures, they have put an awful lot of the concrete walls at the other end of the site as well, so do they still need to dig down in this section, because if they do then that is extremely worrying.
They could always do a indoor water park , then gate in this section as a outdoor part. I'm sure they could manage if they moved the road over a bit, and it would give another reason for people to use the hotel during the closed season
Looking at the website, I take it as £64 per person for hotel, breakfast as well as a two day ticket, which is actually very good value considering how much a ticket would cost. My only thought is will there be separate parking for hotel guests?
That's a shame. I liked York dungeon, mainly because its the only dungeon that I actually found even slightly scary. So claustrophobic, the actors are so involved, it just works great!
marketing at merlin has definitely gotten better recently. despite all the stupid gimmicky stuff they do, I appreciate that they do know how to cause a stir.
but what could they blow up this time?
are they trying to become bigger than Disney? they seem to want to try this whole build from scratch thing with parks, so I guess it should be interesting to see what they do.
