Sorry to change the subject, but i havnt been to chessington in a while and a friendof the family is thinking of taking there kids for there birthday. Is it worth going? The kids are seven
I didnt actually "play" in the new Duplo Valley splash and play area today but it did look very good. The new area is a lot better for the kids and despite it not being very warm for most of today, there were alot of kids enjoying the area whenever i passed! Looks impressive, and seems to fit...
Im not sure if this has been mentioned but i have just been on the Chessington website and it seems they are running a competition for a refurbishment of Dragon Falls. Im not sure how to put a picture up but it sais,
"Dragon Falls is being re-themed and we would like your help. Sketch your...
Yeah it wasnt world class entertainment but it was good. People could of easily sat there saying "this is boring" but if you get involved its good. I dont think anyone in there right mind would expect anything more?
The entertainment wast too bad. When i stayed there was a live band and there was also a game played called rocksta bingo. If you get involved its good and i won fastrack tickets for the next day :) there was also other games around such as table tennis and giant jenga. Plus the arcade stayed...
I stayed in the crash pad with four people and although there wasnt a lot of room there was enough to move around. Plus you do not spend a lot of time in there in the evenings as there is entertainment in the dome. Thought they were brilliant
I would agree with the theming of rides/restaurants or themed areas, but they are not in an area of the park where you will constantly see them. Yes you'll catch a quick glimpse as you park up or cross the bridge but not a lot after that. If you are not staying in them you dont have to go near...
I stayed in the Crash Pads on the second day of opening, and although Thorpe park is my favourite theme park (hence my name) i can honestly say this post isnt going to be biased at all.
First thing was checking in: the staff were very friendly and apart from a small delay, dealt with everyone...
Re: Thorpe Park
When i went on X, as much as i enjoyed it there were still signs in the station area saying X no way out. Does the ride now have two names? Or have thorpe just not bothered to remove/change the signs? Just wondered if anybody knew :)
Re: Thorpe Park
I visited the park last saturday and i thought the swarm back wards was amazing. To me it seemed more intense but maybe just my opnion. I do also think the toilets are kept clean compare to most public toilets etc.
And one last thing, when i visited there were people on the...
Re: Thorpe Park
In my opinion it isnt too bad. Im not saying anyone on here is wrong because your all entitled to your own opinion but we knew the ride itself wasnt going to change and there is only so much a theme can do. In my opinion a good theme can add to a good ride, but a good theme cant...
Re: Thorpe Park
The more i've thought about it the better. Looking back it was actually not a bad ride, the lights were very well done and the music was good too. To be fair they havnt done to bad of a job in my opinion. Also the pov doesnt really do it justice, when you are on the ride the...
Re: Thorpe Park
Having going on X again today it seemed quite a bit quicker than yesterday and there seemed to be more lighting, i quite enjoyed it today :)
