    Camelot - gone for good?

Jetline at Grona Lund was really, really good, I'd never been on Knightmare so it was the closest I could get! I'm now sad that Knightmare is still sitting there doing nothing. But even though Jetline seemed well-kept and well-oiled, it didn't have that shiny cleanness of the big three...

That's what I was thinking, is it supposed to be a volcano?

    The Smiler - General Discussion

On any other ride I'd agree with you, but I won't ride this unless I get the front. It is just too rough for me :(

    The I Feel Down Topic.

I wish I had 'news' but my chances of being able to have kids are very low and I don't have a partner to find out with anyway :(

Fourth picture from the bottom shows a front row queue! Now THAT would have been an improvement!

    Energylandia (Poland): New Coasters

It's funny, I was going to say the same thing yesterday about disliking the clones for this very reason... But I didn't because I didn't think anyone would agree with me!

'Cinecitta World', Rome: new park, Colossus clone and free-fall drop Intamin

It kind of reminds me of the Van Helsing ride at Movie Park, but it's too hard to tell from a dark POV. That station is so bad it's almost creepy. All they needed to do was paint the floor black and it would have had *some* atmosphere...maybe a bit of scaffolding...?

Sorry, getting myself in a muddle with these ruddy B&Ms all over the shop!

    Holiday World: General Discussion

Wingriders are a different coaster experience, that, turns out, the majority of enthusiasts find boring. If a wingrider was built that was fast and/or intense, I wouldn't like it any more (or at least, in the same way I like the ones we have right now). I think I'd be similarly disappointed to...

    The great 'soda' debate

I think my favourite 'foreign' soda has to be Grape Fanta. When my dad and I were in Japan twelve years ago, we were always stopping at the vending machines they seem to have on every street. The only drink we could identify at the time was Fanta...and it was purple. So it's become a bit of...

    Holiday World: General Discussion

Isn't Hulk at IOA a launched B&M? Possibly...the only one? I was ready for all the moaning about this as a wingrider of any description, let alone a launched one. But I am very happy, as I love 'boring and slow' wingriders, and I even like Baco (at the front on inside seat at least). Something...

    The great 'soda' debate

According to the label, Pepsi doesn't have sweeteners. It must be the flavourings or the 'brewing' because everything else looks identical to me. My brother claims to be a bit of a 'supertaster' so I'll try doing a blind test...it's going to cost me £1.50... I think my friends say they are...

    The I Feel Down Topic.

I finished university but didn't even go to my graduation. I rented the robes so my mum could take some pictures but I didn't upload them to Facebook! I'm glad I finished but it hasn't helped in the slightest getting a job, it's actually held me back at times. Having a degree or being a graduate...

    The great 'soda' debate

In the Americandy shops they sell 'American' Mountain Dew and 'American' Pepsi Throwback for £1.50 a can, which is 360ml (30ml more than a standard UK can) I don't personally have a problem but I think my friends are being ripped off, and it's also annoying that they go on about this stuff like...

    The great 'soda' debate

Okay all, I know quite a few people here will have been to the states, and we all know nerds like fizzy drinks and 'American soda' (I jest, of course). I've been having an ongoing row with some friends that Pepsi Throwback is a scam, because it is essentially the same as UK Pepsi made by...

Universal Orlando (Studios/IOA/Epic Universe) : General Discussion

There is a thestral reference in the new area! If you google for the animated thestral carriage at Universal Orlando, you should be able to find the video. I can't access it at the moment so I'll find it later if no one else does :) I think the whole thestral thing is open to some debate as to...

    First Trip to PortAventura

I really would get the Fastpasses. Queue jumping is 'the norm' and the queues seem to be designed for it - gates easily opened, rope barriers, short fences. It nearly ruined my last trip, especially in cattlepen queues with Spanish people shouting abuse at us when we tried to stop them barging...

Universal Orlando (Studios/IOA/Epic Universe) : General Discussion

I also hope the 360 attraction is Jurassic Park/World and not Kong. I've grown to love Jurassic Park even more as I've got older, and I'm desperate to see something new in the area. I love the props for Jurassic World (source Jurassic World Facebook page + Jurassic Raptor on Tumblr) You can...
