Michael Mack's obsession with VR.
True....but as long as the park gets attractions like MFC, Snorri Touren and the upcoming Pirates 2 I think we shouldn`t complain...I think the mix is still fine
Yep. I’m not a VR fan but have no problem with this. It’s not like Europa’s using VR to cover their lack of investment - It’s merely supplementing their additions (namely a water park, a hotel, two dark rides and the reconstruction of an entire land!)
Also, I fully expect this to be at the forefront of VR technology, similar to how Can Can and the original Coastiality innovated all those years ago.
It’s interesting the project is referred to as ‘coming to Rust’ too. Does this suggest it would not be in the park itself?
Michael Mack tagged Rulantica in his post, so it could relate to that?
Yes, AFAIK it`s confirmed that we are looking at an extra attraction coming to rulantica
If it's Rulantica related maybe they'll actually make it look like the concept art this time?
YULLBE will be in the Rulantica building but is actually a separate midway attraction for the resort.
Michael Mack did tease back in May a new VR headset with the hashtag "midway" presumably for this project.
Will be interesting to see how they've advanced the free roaming tech used in Valerian, and also just how popular will such a midway attraction be in Rust?
Sounds like it could be similar to the VOID at Disney Springs.
I can’t get excited by this though. VR impressed me when it’s good, but it’s the technology which impresses me, not the experience itself. I go to theme parks for real life experiences.
Ahhh, Mack NeXT GmbH & Co KG, yet another Mack Company. Excellent!
Okay guys, you can put away the placards. The fire effects are working on Wodan again.
I've got to say the Christmas event is absolutely stunning. I love circuses and the circus has the best diabalo act I've seen. Up and Down are also a fun routine. The night time show on the lake is a cracker. Wishes in Magic Kingdom has Tinker Bell flying over the audience, but Europa Park has totally topped it with Father Christmas in a sleigh. You could easily spend a couple of days just doing all the extra Christmas activities.
Winter season is, quite honestly, the highlight of EP's operating season. Yes - you take a risk with the weather and temperatures, but really - the park is just mindblowingly beautiful at this time of year.
Not sure if it’s been mentioned, but Clubcard prices for 2020 are online. They’ve seen a similar (not insignificant) rise to last year, rising from €210 to €225.
Yeah, EP's prices are certainly going up steadily.
I wonder if or when we'll see a ceiling.
