You can quite clearly tell where ride re-locations and queue line removals have taken place around the park, due to the uncovered concrete slabs and fence holes jotted around. Infrastructure was never a consideration; it was just a case of get things in as cheaply and quickly as possible.
Formula's queue line blatantly used to go straight down the middle of the ride layout and into the station building, for example. Now, a narrow strip of tarmac has been shoehorned in around the ride area and makes for unpleasant queuing in the heat due to the lack of cover for the majority of it:

The only section of the park that has somewhat of an organised feel to it is the strip from Hyperion up to Mayan coaster. Perhaps with the park expansion across the road now taking shape they'll give it some thought.
Long-term, something has to be done about the large influx of cheap tat that clutters the park and generally frustrating layout.
