Over the next few weeks, we'll be drip feeding our Q&A onto our Facebook page and sharing them here on the forum. Our first is this evening! All questions were put to Patrick Marx of Mack Solutions.

Do you have any plans for a new coaster?
Have you have visited Ireland? We have a new one there! But... joking aside, there are 13 coasters, more than any other in Europe for now. There will be new coasters in the future - exciting ones, which need to also be open in winter to help with capacity. However, we are unable to say when or what as we don't know exactly. A lot depends on Mack Rides as they are very busy until 2019.

The reduced capacity caused by Coastiality (Virtual Reality) on Alpenexpress and Pegasus appears to go goes against the ethos of high capacity rides to keep the queues moving, which is otherwise very successful at Europa-Park. Do you have plans to alter or remove it?
We didn't expect such a long wait for Pegasus. Historically, the queue has usually been a maximum of 20 minutes - but it has become 70 or 80 minutes! Therefore we will remove Pegasus Coastiality (VR) during the 2017 season. However, we will be constructing a new system to make it quicker on Alpenexpress. This will increase the number of seats for Coastiality, but also make the normal capacity better. We also hope to have a ‘Choose your movie’ option in future – choose from several VR movies in 2017!

What are your favourite parks/rides in world?
Blue fire! No, I am joking. My favourite park to visit is Liseberg as it is unique. My favourite ride is Nemesis. I rode it again this year and it is so good even after 22 years! Different to all other B&M inverts!

Would you consider building a Twist n Splash/other rollercoaster type ride (Power Splash etc.) in the waterpark?
This is not planned in the first phase. But there will be space available, maybe in the future. There would never be a Splash Bash in the main park - not popular as too wet – so maybe!

Projekt V has timed tickets. Is fastrack something to be introduced across the park?
There are indeed timed tickets on Projekt V. There will be only one per person, per day. Not like the Disney ticket system. It is not a tool to bring people out of normal queuelines but designed to bring people back in the quieter times. The ride will open early - 8:15/8:30am on busier days. And 9am on quieter days. We wont have any timed ticket returns at the start and end of the day when it is busier, so the main queue moves much quicker. Most of our guests don't know it's quiet at the front of park in the middle of the day. However, to give people a clue, we have introduced queue time boards around the park to help crowd control. We will constantly evaluate these tickets on Projekt V. We do not plan to roll these out to other rides. We cannot do it Disney style as the park will burst - we need people to be in queue lines as our footpaths would not cope otherwise on busy days!
