Same as Alton Towers.
At least Gardaland is getting things that are magical. I'd much rather that than sheds in a field
Merlin love creating hotels for "little guests".
It's all so kiddified what they do with accommodation.
Buisness says that each kid will have at least one parent, so that's two visitors for the price of one...
"The hotel will feature one bar, open until 10.30pm, with loud and garish kids entertainment to ensure that you simply cannot relax and enjoy a beverage in the evening."
Nothing screams ‘MERLIN INVESTMENT’ more than a large budget hotel! Least the concept art looks nice and the park probably needs more accommodation unlike other parks which certainly do not.
Will probably still be overpriced with vinyl though. If they can prove me wrong on just one of these, they have done well.
Ironically Garda is the best place for any hotel investment, given it's locale next to one of Italy's most popular destinations...
I just came across a few new concepts for Gardaland’s Magic Hotel. I have to admit, despite all the issues Merlin have with their accommodation, this actually looks pretty nice. Looks at least like they’re putting some effort into it. Will be interesting to see how it looks on the inside.
Don’t be fooled it’s just a cladded shipping container
Looks better than vinyl clad sheds
Just when you thought that Sequoia Adventure was as good as gone, Gardaland announce that it is going to be re-launched in 2019 as Sequoia Magic Loop!
All part of Gardaland' 2019 Year of Magic.
"New for 2019" hahahahahahahaha
Like a bad smell, it's the ride they just can't sell...
Just like Colossos at Heide Park then. Is this a new tactic to save on having to build something new?
Break a ride, leave it SBNO for a while then repair, rebrand and open as a "new ride".
Perhaps we haven't seen the last of Loggers Leap and Sub Terra yet...
I have to say... given how dire the ride is, I am surprised they don't keep it closed.
To be fair, that page also says they're adding a new show with "suggestive dance sets". I assume that means a lot of twerking.
Behold the "Magic Loop" retheme...
A colourful repaint and some silver stars have been stuck on...
Christ, that’s absolutely vile. What is it with Merlin and their brightly coloured tins of paint...
They either theme everything morbidly with 50 shades of Merlin black and grey, or ludicrously garish colour schemes with no finesse.
I long for the day they can actually find the perfect middle ground and stick to it.
Ironically Mammut is a decent example of what Merlin could do...
Separate names with a comma.
