This is set to be the most exciting new addition in Europe for 2016, if not worldwide!

It's a pity Phantasialand don't engage more with viral marketing and enthusiasts. They're totally closed up.

    Viral marketing is overrated.
I'd love if they maintain complete silence about it until a few weeks before opening.

I mean that they just don't engage with fans at all.

The only Phantasialand fansite was closed because of how much they hate fans.

They ban guests from taking photos of rides which are closed!

It really boggles the mind. I wonder how long until they demand this very topic is deleted?

I agree with Jordan. What I really like about EP is that they tell you about everything and show and explain how their new rides are put together and there is no mystery about how they operate. What I really like about Phantasialand is that they are a complete mystery - nobody even knows the name of the owner or the manager or who designs their attractions, which heightens the intrigue around their habit of occasionally issuing a solid-gold masterpiece out of nowhere like a theme park Kraftwerk.

Ironically enough, the park have just posted a load of photos on their Facebook in the last few days of refurbishments going on:

New colour scheme in Chinatown (also, check out the Klugheim rocks!)

Thank god for the work on RiverQuest as last year it was looking very grotty. Go and have a look at their page, check out the comments on their posts! They seem to have gone from stonewall silence to engaging with almost every comment - often quite wittily.

For example, someone asked them to "show some pictures of Klugheim" and they said "Just Google the word 'pit' ;)" (57 likes). Someone else said something along the lines of 'I can't believe you've made it look so pretty' to which they replied "Hello? We are the Phantasialand! ^^" (32 likes). What is going on?! :D

Some sort of re-work of the entrance/exit to RiverQuest going on...

Pretty much the same but the top of the stairs didn't have a roof, just high fences I think

There was a roof on that section.

    It's just been cleaned up!

    In other, KlugHeim related, news:
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
These have just been uploaded by Klugheimleaks which has been chased all over the web by PL! It can now be found at http://klugheim.0xhost.net/wp/...for now. Keep checking their Twitter feed for updates if it gets moved again :p

I assume they've wrapped the supports and track because this part is going to be indoors? Or at least feature quite close theming?

Hopefully they'll remove the wrapping - Black Mamba has some on their supports within the building on the lifthill. Annoyingly it can make a lasting impression!

Ooft. Don't see how this is going to end up being entirely enclosed...

At least it's RCS building it, so it should go up fairly pain free!

I guess from the top left piece of track that it's going to have at least inversion?

    :)

Wow it's going up quickly! But no, I can't imagine it will all be enclosed. I can imagine it diving in, out and around various theming though.

Holy crap ! The right overbank must be taken at some speed, right ? This could easily be Germanys upcoming Nr. 1 steel coaster. I mean...Intamin, Overbanks, Inversions, Launches, Feefall section...WOW !

Just noticed the theming on the walls of the launch tunnel!

I'm guessing this dirty great hole is where the droptrack is going?

Bit of an odd support? This shows just how bigsmall this is! It looks massive but isn't really that tall compared to the surrounding structures!

    More pics on KlugheimLeaks!

These pictures are fascinating. I can't imagine the launch speed is going to be overly fast as the following overbank is not that tall. The launch is clearly going to be underground though. Looks like the coaster will contain lots of tight overbanked turns.

Looking again, there's a bit of track under the overbank going into the tunnel, so maybe you come in from that end and get launched up towards the taller supports at the other end of the site?
