You can sometimes be lucky and get one without a ticket from that day, it often just depends on the staff member you get!

You could always try something really really radical, like, oh...I don't know, not putting your ticket in the bin and simply keeping it in your pocket? I know these tickets are very very heavy and take up lots of space on your person, but just on the one occasion where you want a return ticket, you might just be able to keep it on you for 5 minutes until you get to the box office to get your return ticket. I know it's a lot of effort, but just try really hard and you might just pull it off!

Without presenting your ticket for that particular day, how do you prevent someone going into guest services multiple times to get several £15 tickets, then selling them on at £20? It's not stupid, it's how a business stays in business.

You know what is even harder. When you have an annual pass and have to keep it on you all year.
