No food, or gas for that matter.
Tonights dinner menu:
10p frozen bread from tesco's toasted with a peanut butter.
Raw bacon
Cooked bacon ( prolonged cooking time in oven)

Drinks:
Tap water
Old ribena
Robinsons orange double concentrate
Can of pepsi ( 1 can only)

Bacon sandwiches and pepsi. What exactly are you complaining about??

Simon, you're doing a great job thus far! Keep smiling me dear :)

I have no time to cook the bacon, and I have no frying facilities, I'm getting worse than towers with facilities. :p And I have finished the pepsi.

Microwave it? It's one of the best ways to do bacon anyway imo.

I feel that we need a bacon thread. Seems wrong to disturb this thread with too much talk about how awesome bacon is... but christ it's yummy.

Been stood up by the same girl for the third time running. Feel like such a fool to have been played along in her silly games. Feel worthless now though - this is my 4th rejection, and having never been accepted by someone I've now officially lost what little self worth I previously had. :'(

Seems that tonight all of my friends are posting statuses about amazing their girlfriends/boyfriends are, or how lucky they are, or how much they love one another. I, on the other hand, as always, am alone, and left feeling wretched that I can feel jealous of my friend's happiness.

I'm going to at least three weddings next year, am watching more friends become engaged, whilst lying here and going over and over the fact that no one has ever shown the slightest interest in me, ever.

In one instance where I was very interested in someone, and forced myself to talk to them about it (when things became a little complicated), it was made plainly clear how undesirable I am (this was recently, not back when I was horrifically obese). So, not only had no one ever shown an interest, there isn't any reason to assume that they ever will either.

Just feel so, so alone, and wonder what point there is in continuing like this.

Don't panic.

I'm almost 30 and feel similar at times!

I went to see an Alan Bennett play, which is subjecting yourself to a protracted hour and a half of these sorts of feelings, with the rush of life and impending mortality slapping you in the face.

I realise this is cold comfort; but I guess these are feelings of the Human Condition, that affect some of us more keenly than others.

It's funny how opening up the world with social networking ends up isolating people!

I don't understand why people can't keep things like that to themselves. It doesn't affect anyone else, it isn't interesting to read, and it just ends up isolating friends. Even the ones who are happy for them, because the post is solely focussed on the 'happy couple' in their own personal bubble of happiness.

Yeah if you want to tell your friends you're seeing someone, or getting married, go ahead. But we don't need all the gory details xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx love u baby <3 <3

A guy I once worked with was reading the banal statuses on his facebook:
"'Off to Southampton to see Lisa this weekend' - so what you mean is you're getting laid? No one wants to imagine that."

Yes, people who post excessively or crudely about their partners can be annoying, but really that comes down to the quality of your friends. If a particular person is annoying then you can stop their statuses from appearing in your newsfeed with two clicks.

I find the concept that people shouldn’t post any status updates that relate to a partner or close friend for fear of isolating somebody else who is by their own free will choosing to read such statuses a bit odd.

Should we also stop people from talking about buying cars / houses /going on holiday for fear of isolating someone less fortunate who may read it?

I do sympathise with the feelings Islander described tho. I personally hate Facebook etc and always have, but leave it entirely and the isolation gets even worse. The only solution is to be very strict and censor your newsfeed carefully. :/

1 of the 2 things that makes me feel slightly better. The other being that I have a MAP fund to soon be able to come on a meet! :)

To all those who feel they'll never find love - be patient, it'll happen! People used to tell me that love would come looking for me when I least expect it. I never used to believe in that, but it happened.

There's someone out there for everyone. Don't give up!

I can only compare that to my post-EP comedown.

So I put stuff in the washing machine and tidy the kitchen like my dad asked. Dad shouts at me for not tidying my room... :L Even when I said I would do it today, not yesterday... Then he makes my room more messy by flinging all the stuff out of my closet onto the floor. :/
