TS Closed Season Weekender: 21 - 23 February 2020 Our Closed Season weekend at Alton Towers is back! With both the Alton Towers Hotel and Splash Landings *open* - we're delighted to be returning once again for a weekend of food, drink and waterpark fun at Alton Towers. Prices are based on 4 adults sharing a standard room at the time of posting using the Merlin Holiday Club site (the room must be booked by a Merlin pass holder). As at 14/1/20, the price for the *whole* weekend, including bed, breakfast, waterpark, Sea Life and a round of golf is £79.00 per person! This is a great price and less expensive than an equivalent stay during the park season. The weekend typically starts on Friday, early evening, when we meet in one of the hotel bars before booking a dinner table in one of the restaurants. After this, we tend to spend the night in Ma Garritas until close around 1am. After breakfast on Saturday, we usually make our way to the waterpark - which is open to hotel guests only! Once we've had a swim, around lunchtime we head up into Alton village for a light lunch and short stroll and some drinks before making our way back to the resort to freshen up. We book another table for dinner in a different restaurant before spending the night in the bars once more. On Sunday, everyone makes their way home late morning. We hope to see a few of you there! Is this available to book without a MAP? If so how much? Might look into attending as I've yet to experience the water park.
I’ll be there. Never one to miss out on the waterpark! You’ll be looking at around £157pp for two adults in Splash based on the Towers website. It’s a fair difference! You’d be a good way along to paying for a MAP based on the holiday club saving! It could be worth checking places like Booking.com though. I saw an offer flash up on HotUKDeals the other week, so there are some deals floating around (whether they’re valid for FHT though is another matter).
I can confirm I will be in full attendance in a room with @Sammy , @Ian and @Danny - Splash Landings Hotel.
Unfortunately I won’t be stopping over as I’ve got work over the weekend, however I do plan to pop up after work for some food and stuff.
