I’m interested by the summer 2021 announcement. I expected it to be closer to late March/early April myself.

Glad that it’s finally been announced though so hopefully we’ll get some good marketing coming soon

Probably learnt their lesson from Hagrids, I know the scale is different but Hagrid’s opened way too soon.

They're probably giving themselves somewhat of a Covid-cushion as well.

Universal have just uploaded this trailer for the coaster:

Looks like there'll be fire effects and lighting in additional to a small pre-show. Good to see that the trains will have the lap bar style restraints too

EDIT: A couple of stats and additional info have been released too:
    - Two launches, the fastest reaching 70mph in 2.4 seconds
    - The top-hat element is 150ft tall with an 80 degree drop
    - A total of 12 seconds of airtime throughout the ride
    - The ride will follow a new story set in the Jurassic World canon, featuring characters from the film. The ride is the next evolution of Jurassic World's "carnivore expansion", where riders can feel the rush of the hunt whilst racing with the velociraptor pack

The theming looks underwhelming, too. Have no idea why Universal decided to make it so dark.

What will be the loading/unloading process? (Train come to a stop or will move slowly through the station)
Will we be able to take items with us (phones and wallets) or will it be strictly no items in pocket?

I’m surprised this hasn’t been mentioned yet, but according to sources on some of the Orlando forums... Velocicoaster has had human riders.

Universal have now unveiled the train for Velocicoaster:

    Looking sharp, I must say!

Out of interest, what is it that BPB supposedly need to learn from Velocicoaster’s trains?

VelociCoaster is now beginning to test with lights on the trains:

I must say that that’s looking brilliant, in my opinion; the ride itself also looks to have gained some speed since earlier footage!

Must be so nice to have these amazing parks in your backyard. I really do envy Floridians.

Not only have you got some of the best parks on earth in your vicinity but a lot of them stay open 365.
