Walibi Belgium: General Discussion

This coaster looks like it's definitely gonna be one of the best in Europe as long as there isn't a rattle on the trains, the restraints aren't terrible and the trim brakes don't kill the airtime!

Some snaps of the trains; testing imminent it seems.

I'm not usually one to ***** about restraints, but it's such a shame that so many of Intamin's rides were built with Rita-esque restraints.
Yh I agree with that, though hopefully it won't take anything away from the ride. The train design looks nice though and makes me wonder when they're gonna announce the name

Walibi gets some seriously amazing rides given the countries they operate in don't have particularly huge populations. And we have to remember that most people in the world aren't theme park fanatics like us and a big number of people don't even visit these places at all.

I guess they only started getting these more significant rides fairly recently. Up until a few years ago investment was very mixed.

The investment into parks around that region consisting of Belgium, Netherlands, and Germany is clearly what can happen if different parks in the area are ran by different companies.

In the past few years as well as Walibi Belgiums additions we've seen/seeing

Plopsaland De Panne - Heidi the ride, Time Traveller xtreme spinner
Bobbiejaanland - Fury
Efteling - Baron, Symbolica, Max + Moritz, another coaster stuck in planning limbo
Toverland - Avalon and Port Laguna expansions
Walibi Holland - Lost Gravity, Untamed
Phantasialand - Taron, Fly
Movie Park Germany - Star Trek, New Intamin coaster
