Part of the [[Theme Park Music Database]], [[Alton Towers]] is the theme park that created [[TowersStreet]] and that website has presented an array of park music, new and old from either the Tussauds years or the current [[Merlin Entertainments Ltd|Merlin]] era. Upon this article, we present to you a wide stretched variety of music spanning from the very early 90s up to present day.

Airy fairy, thrill contrary. The music is relaxing and soothing within the queue, sauntering with a hidden woodpecker in the ambience throughout the area, a near favourite of enthusiasts. However, the calm nature of it soon disappears after a ride mishap.

Also available online is the 2007 version from when Alton Towers screwed up their music licensing and had to ditch all their normal tracks.

A means of countering large volumes of [[Faff|faff]] common on [[Meets|TST Meets]].

Sometimes a way of countering [[Faff|faff]] is either ringing a small bell bought from the nearest shop, or a football rattle entitled "TST faffinator ([[Faff|Faff]] Annihilator)" on the meets with 15 plus members. These items can occasionally work when [[Faff|faff]] is within the area but is best used by someone powerful, just under the rank of Admin and Mod.

A Badger is useful for anti-[[Faff|faff]]. No really, try it and you'll get surprising results!

== Usage ==

To instigate anti-[[Faff|faff]] all that is required is for a member of the group to shout "anti-[[Faff|faff]]" and attempt to move to the next destination.

== Outcome ==

The success of an attempted anti-[[Faff|faff]] depends largely on the individual calling anti-[[Faff|faff]]. Those with more power over the group can cause movement to start, sometimes resulting in those not ready being left behind and the group fragmenting.

Those with less power are very unlikely to succeed, failure is usually demonstrated by a angry retort of "we're waiting for ___", and results in [[Faff|faff]] continuing indefinitely.

Meets are known to be where a varying amount of people (aka TSTers) integrate together at a specific location (aka a theme park) in order to have varying degrees of fun, queueing and [[Faff|faff]] in no particular order. Sometimes this one big group will split off into smaller groups known as 'cliques' (that angry beavers are heavily against) but that's all for another article.

Below are varying sizes of meets, ranging in four officially stated sizes just to confirm everything. Aside from these, there is such a thing known as a [[Secret Meet]], where a number of members create a meet somewhere in secret so they don't have unwanted members (for varying reasons) tagging along.

Meets are only official if they're placed in the correct Trip and Planning Reports section of the forum. No arguments, they just are official that way.

The most members an official meet has ever had is between 50 and 60, which caused extreme [[Faff|faff]] and prolonged queue/post-waiting time.

Ban stick

The '''Ban Stick''' (known as "'''Stick of Doom'''" by those who receive the wrath of it) is an ancient metaphorical, though sometimes real and pulsating, stick that is used to ban people from the TowersStreet Forum, quite simply. It must not be confused with the more contemporary '''Ban-Gavel''': a similar device but used by the Queen of the Wiki to ban people from her realm instead.

If a member of the ADMINZAR team do caution that they are going to take out their ban stick, it is advisable that one remains quiet, ceases whatever action they were doing at the time (and also breathing), and backs away slowly. Continuation of threats should be taken seriously, and a recommendation to drop to your knees (although see exceptions below) and beg for forgiveness is advisable.

=== Exceptions ===
Exceptions to the rule are however that if a particular Mod or Admin threatens to get out his ban stick, you locate the nearest wall as fast as humanly possible and keep your back to it at all times until the threat has passed and another victim has been selected.

=== Usage ===
When used, the member concerned finds themselves exiled from any contribution for whatever time period has been defined at the time of use. Simples. *squeek*.

It is not unknown for bans to be handed out "for teh LOLz". If a member of the TST team threatens to ban someone in an obviously jokey way, it is still not recomended to call their bluff. These bans are often short term (one evening), but are no less deadly than a "real" ban, resulting in a black mark against your name on your "TST Permanent Record".

It just so happened at the same time, fellow theme park and coaster forums began charging a respectable amount of money to their members, causing questions by TSTers if that were to happen to their beloved Meets. Of course the Team denied this move many times.

However, claims over time began suggesting imminent Meet-Up Fees after a Team member in 2009 let slip of a [[Secret Meet]] at the holy hidden crossroads in Alton, after showing photos of the Team having fun playing on calculators for teh lulz.
