This is followed by a facepalm and the enthusiast's sigh of "it's a fortified manor house".

But what some people don't realise for some time is that Alton [[Castle|Castle]] DOES exist in the village of Alton itself. Only that it doesn't have a beautiful garden in a valley, nor has 3 B&Ms, a [[GOD|God]], not even a [[Sharkbait Reef|glorified fishbowl]].
