Until 2001 the Riverbank Eye Spy was a magical and subdued, yet educational romp around a farmyard, featuring many real - and very lovely - farmyard animals, located in the Old MacDonald's Farmyard area of [[Alton_Towers|Alton Towers]].

However, this was not to last. The 2001 foot and mouth crisis led to the enforced cull of all the lovely, cute, cuddly-wuddly sheep, rabbits, chickens and cows. Ah, that patented [[Alton_Towers|Alton Towers]] magic!

The Riverbank Eye Spy still operates to this day. It's just that there's nothing to spy anymore. A shame that...
