The Alton Towers Hotel is famous because it costs an arm and a leg and your firstborn child, oh and there's a theme park in the back garden. Built during the 90s in order to get more people visiting for longer who weren't skint and had to stay at the nearest Travelodge or Weathervane.
The hotel prides itself in eccentric artefacts both in illustrations and with a massive flying contraption down by the Not So Secret Garden restaurant.
