Sandwiched between Mutiny Bay and Gloomy Wood, Katanga Canyon is an African themed land created by John Wardley back in the late 80s and is considered one of his best themed areas.
It is also the only known area on park that has never had a ride removed or added, nor ever been rethemed. Yes, we have a truly surviving place at Alton Towers here, people!
