The internal department at Alton Towers who make outlandish claims and lies to help fill newspapers and upset forums. They are regarded as noob stimuli, for the many rumours they send to the masses and helping noobs on forums become confused and quite seriously upset.

The head of the Marketing Team is a mystery, some have hinted its a Wraith, others assume its Pirate Bill. No one knows for sure. Second in command is the bin emptier who looks like a particular Mod. The rest of the team can be any of the other staff on park who happen to walk past a phone when its ringing, or be hiding in the bushes or as ride theming.
It is particularly known that the marketing team are sometimes given the option of becoming a Ninja.
