... and so, the legendary Fallen Branch, the focus of the Earl's obsession that has lain undisturbed for over 200 years, CHAINED IN THIS VAULT!

Jim Carter, otherwise known as the narrator of Hex - The Legend of the Towers, is a remarkable television, stage and screen actor with a lovely filmography involving his melodramatic, Yorkshire tinted dulcet tones.

He is bowed up to by many enthusiasts (many of which are Hexologians, Altonists and Wardleyists) for his voice in Hex and so is remarked as a deity within the Mythology of European Theme Parks. Jim's atmospheric and sinister vocals are said to be so powerful within narration, that his baritone voice is gaining a mind of its own and he does not need to physically act... only through his slow, slightly rumbling speech.

[edit] Vocal Confusion

His voice is regularly confused with two other, Large Ham voice actors despite there being a prominent difference in speech and tone.

[edit] The Hex Narrator: LIVE!

It has been rumoured that Jim Carter, whenever he pays a visit to Alton Towers, the ride operator upon Hex ceases all the recorded vocals so he may recite word by word, tone by tone, the narration on everything.

For anybody lucky enough to have experienced this atmospheric hearing, it means they are blessed by the deity. Anybody who has tried recording the incident has had their camera-phone, camcorder, phone or even recording equipment explode in their hands due to the awesomeness. This is but a infinity level higher than the Pneumatic Elephant blessing for the obvious reasoning of combusting electronics. Bliss!
