X-Sector

In comparison to the camp Forbidden Valley, X-Sector the second 'thrill' themed area which takes itself too seriously and depends on psychology as well as vaguely dark, elusive, secret government facility theming in order to frighten guests. Oblivion counts in this as one of Alton Tower's most imposing roller coasters, alongside The Beastie, often making queues shorter rather than bigger.

Aside from Oblivion, X-Sector also houses Submission and Enterprise, the least queued for in park mainly because the former is a potential death trap and the latter is usually at every other park, thus rendering itself pointless.
