Riverbank Eye Spy

Until 2001 the Riverbank Eye Spy was a magical and subdued, yet educational romp around a farmyard, featuring many real - and very lovely - farmyard animals, located in the Old MacDonald's Farmyard area of Alton Towers.

However, this was not to last. The 2001 foot and mouth crisis led to the enforced cull of all the lovely, cute, cuddly-wuddly sheep, rabbits, chickens and cows. Ah, that patented Alton Towers magic!

The Riverbank Eye Spy still operates to this day. It's just that there's nothing to spy anymore. A shame that...
