On the dark stormy night of 15/10/10, a birthday cake was lost in the Alton Towers hotel. If you would like a "slice" of the action, then you can help find this lost cake.

Reactions to the loss of the cake came in the lines of "Dough!" and "It will all pavlova in the morning".

The finding of this wonderful cake would just be the icing on the whole adventure, and if you should find it, asking pretty please with a cherry on top should ensure that you to get to keep this wonderful confectionary delight.

Some say that the cake is a lie, or that the whole story is "taking the biscuit", but with the loss of the cake, all we can say is that's the way the cookie crumbles.

News reports state that due to the lost cake "lots of people are really upset as a result." The loss of the cake was taken very hard because "a hell of a lot of work went in to it"

Gloomy wood and Forbidden Valley were the first places to be searched and no crumb of evidence was found. The search has now moved onto the dark forest and a strange chocolate mark has been found on the side of one of Ritas cars. Cake experts are currently being flown in from Mr Kipling to help identify the chocolate smear found on Rita.

After the examination from the Mr Kipling reports, experts discovered it was just infact skid marks from somebody who had emptied their excrement on the launch of the ride. The search wound it's way to Corner Coffee where no crumbs of evidence were found. Eye witness reports suggest that at 4:55pm on 16th October 2010, a young boy who's name remains confidential revealed on the Alton Towers Faffbook page that the hotel were handing out slices of cake for free at the bar. A hotel spokesman had this to say regarding the incidient:

"And we would have gotten away with it if it weren't for those meddling kids!"
