Frazzle
m (That also could've been better, I would put something about Frazzle's audio but I think someone who knows more on that part should do it.) |
(Very well. :P Bahhh... I miss red Frazzle so much. Damn Chessington's evil dark ages in which literally EVERYTHING was raped. :() |

Frazzle the Dragon has lived at Chessington World of Adventures since the mid-1980s, terrifying mildly entertaining the children who have visited by appearing from his abodes, speaking to them in a deep booming voice and soon going back to his slumber in a mysterious fashion.
Mystic East
Frazzle was born as a large, red, female Chinese dragon in Mystic East, and lived in a sculpted stone cave opposite the main drop on Dragon River. She used to be much brasher and more upfront whenever visitors wobbled her large, golden eggs that sat precariously in front of the cave on a pedestal. Once the eggs were touched, Frazzle's pneumatic neck would somehow lift itself out from the whole in the cave and roar continuously at the scared little children. However, according to many Chessington staff members, she was nicer in person in comparison to her frightening entertaining animatronic status.
Here is Frazzle in 1992.
Land of the Dragons
Currently she is located at the entrance of Dragons Fury, protecting the now-former Skips sponsorship rights. Chessington cruelly demolished her old decorated temple and stuck in her a bland, bare cave instead. In addition to this they replaced the eggs for some oversized coins, painted her green and ripped off the front of her lower jaw for some reason. They also swapped the roars for a short but melodramatic speech about a particular brand of potato crisps... that probably don't actually contain much potato anyway, nor have anything to do with Dragon's Fury now that the Skips sponsorship has been removed. It is also worth noting that Frazzle's new audio was deep and manly, suggesting that the dragon also had a sex change during the 2003/4 closed season.
Unfortunately, Frazzle looked rough and slightly bored in comparison to his/her glory days in Mystic East. This was mostly because of his growing age and the annoying amount of minions who kept daring to steal the Skips sponsorship. Thankfully he/she was repainted for the 2010 season and now looks fresh and content, so yay!

Legends
There are two well known legends about Frazzle:
- That Frazzle was the pet dragon animatronic of John Wardley and was good friends with the Vampire organist.
- That Frazzle's post-2004 audio is voiced by BRIAN BLESSED... which explains the pseudo-epic voice.
