Dragon's Fury at Chessington World of Adventures is a Mourn A Sön spinning roller coaster themed around a land that involves dragons and formerly, lazily sponsored by Skips during its first year or so. The ride is said to be consistently better than Sonic Spinball because the theming isn't inane and it does something with the space it's given.
The ride's story is apparantly you have angered some sort of dragon master and you have to ride his Mourn-A-Son coaster in order to please him so you don't get kicked out of the park. Why a Mourn A Sön? Possibly because the hidden dragon master is some sort of sadist.

[edit] The Ride
[edit] Queuing
You enter the queue next to Frazzle, the Skips sponsorship protector dragon and join a long frustrating wooden queueline regardless of whether there is a 5 minute queue or not. Here are the significant differences between a 5 minute queue and the 30+ minute queue:
- 5 Minute Queue - It takes you as long as a 30+ minute queue to walk through all the queueline, regardless of the closed extensions or not.
- 30+ Minute Queue - It takes you a little longer to walk through the queueline to get to the end of the queue regardless of the open extensions or not.
You may weave through the queue at either a fast pace or a slow pace in order to make sure no minions queue jump, briefly seeing the rogueish dragon theming here and there like a burnt rock!... disguised as a Bose speaker. Or a hatching dragon egg... that has been hatching since opening day 2004.
Soon you will come up to the pre-batching point, depending on whether the queue is less than 15 minutes, where you will briefly see the How To Make Yourselves Ridiculously Dizzy Thanks To Body Weight sign with 3D layered pictures which inform you on how to gain the correct spin for this ride. Annoyingly, once you come up to the station and are batched to your constantly moving seats, this may be ignored completely depending on how long the queue is.
[edit] Ride Experience
The ride begins up a tall lift hill with quite a nice view of either Wild Asia/Mystic East or the rest of the park depending on where you sit. You are then let off from the chain cache, creating an amusing wobble on the lift hill and are sent spinning in whatever direction as a on-ride camera attempts to grab you and your affiliate's facial expressions.
Once you've regained a consciousness from the quite fast speed of the drop, you find yourself up on a brief small bit, then hopping over some hills like a little bunny rabbit, then up onto a brief slow bit where you can see some nice views again, then you lose a bit of consciousness again as you spin halfway around some sort of tower.
You then do another little bunny hop, notice the hidden Griffins Galleons and realise you should do that later, go onto a brief slow bit, then carry on spinning to a small-to-enormous amount, then up a bit onto another brief slow bit and then down a bit in a S fashion, carry on spinning around the track until the ride stops.
As you come back into the station, you are greeted with a Ah, you survived. Please, EXIT TO THE LEFT.
[edit] Ride Reception
As said earlier in this article, enthusiasts do not mind Dragon's Fury and consider it to be definitely better in parts in comparison to the SEGA sponsorship twin, although the long track does get tiring in parts especially with the four block sections and two lift hills that slow the pacing a tad.
All in all by everyone who ever ridden it, they believe Dragon's Fury is alright.
Yep.
