TowersStreet is an online community dedicated to the Europa-Park Alton Towers theme park.

History

It was on a warm Summer night in 2012, when the thunder of admins signalled the departure of the The Site Who Must Not Be Named's admin team to a new home, Project Aurora. As the plan came to be an excellent success, a strange phenomenon began in the enthusiast scene. Other enthusiasts looked upon the shiny new forum and began seeing quality content. The team and members of the new site, now dubbed TowersStreet, began to welcome new members to the fold and return to the usual plan of scheduled meets. Interested, the new members began arriving in increasing numbers to see what all the fuss was about. Later on, that very same site’s social media, the news began to break that Nemesis: Sub Terra had given its final rides. Indeed, it had rejected several members of this very site in its final test and from there it sadly, slowly, died. Not deterred by this tragedy, the site continued from strength to strength, gaining a sister site, dedicated to those who take wrong turns and end up at the house of Roland. But the story didn’t end there. History has it, with declining popularity and neglect, Ice Age 4D lost its first character, the legendary nut, followed by the rest of the characters on park and became relegated to ever reducing showings, a shadow of its former self. The park has attempted a final, closely watched push in a desperate attempt to finally see a good dark ride at Towers for the first time…ever!
