Dutch manufacturer of boring and/or painful roller coasters. Not to be confused with Verkoma, manufacturer of The Haunting at Drayton Manor. Vekoma are the company responsible for Goudurix at Parc Asterix, frequently voted world's worst steel coaster in the Mitch Hawker coaster poll.

Vekoma started out producing rip-offs of Arrow coasters, the two companies being barely distinguishable. Despite their notoriously poor rides, Vekoma somehow managed to become the manufacturer of choice for Disney. Fortunately, most of the Disney rides are able to get away with their fairly boring layouts by spending tens of millions of EuroDollarPounds on making them look pretty.

In the 90's the company became the Lidl of roller coaster manufacturer, producing cheaper (and worse) versions of the looping and inverted coasters made by B&M, until practically every medium sized theme park had either a Boomerang or an SLC. In recent years, Vekoma has been squeezed out of this market by the Gerstlauer Eurofighter.
