Monty the Giant Squid inhabits a luxurious first class penthouse in the lake at Alton Towers, regularly entertaining for the children and then eating the chavs. He is a very kind and docile creature but also quite shy with the elder visitors, even though he is older than them by centuries.

- His favourite show is Balamory and has recorded every episode twice.
- His favourite film is Atlantis: The Lost Empire, because his cousin Toodles wrecks the submarine.
- When he's not too busy eating chavs, Monty enjoys playing tennis and cooking.
