Forbidden Valley, also known for the nickname "B&M Valley", is home to some of Alton Tower's most popular rollercoasters. Themed around a... valley that's forbidden but isn't actually IN a valley so it makes no sense, it also evokes a post-apocalyptic theme which is basically just rusty junk placed around on the grass and embedded on the ground 'to look' the part.
As much as it tries to campily scream "OooOoo look at me! Aren't I scaaaaary? I'm FORBIDDEN! You shouldn't go neeeeeear meee, oooor elseeee you will Diiiiiieiiiieeeeieeeeeeeeee!", people will still go there. It's like reverse psychology, but stupid.
Demonstrated below, Forbidden Valley has a fetish for HUSS flats just as much as Schwarzkopfs and B&Ms. Pinfaris, not so much.
Current Rides and Attractions
- Nemesis - B&M's "The Nemesis"? NO.
- Ripsaw - A Huss Top Spin posing as a rusty piece of scrap metal. No theming required. Also a spectator ride in every season and month it's open, technically water torture alongside Battle Galleons.
- Blade - A Huss Swinging Ship with blades attached, to kill any guests who intrude on Thunderlooper's sacred grave.
Former Rides and Attractions
- Dynamo - Generic Huss Breakdance, now living in Germany.
- Thunderlooper - Schwarzkopf Launched Loop Coaster, now living in Brazil.
- The Beast - Schwarzkopf Jet Star III, removed in preparation for Air.
- DEMOTED The Beastie - Younger brother to The Beast. Which was demoted to Adventure Land before recently being converted into tin cans. A Pinfari... nothing more to say.
