Anyway, has anyone here ever had a dream about AT?
I had one last night:
I was at Alton Towers, and it was ERT, the first day of scare fest (yes, I argued in the car that it was not ERT that day..) so we decided to go to Nemmy. First ride of Scarefest, we boarded to see a new train! It wasnt suspended below the track like normal, it was onto, and shaped like a giant teddy , with just a belt to hold you in. We got in, and got up the lift hill, when John Wardly popped out, and told us to get out, and that we'd been filmed for the new Scarefest advert, because everone had spent all the marketing money on shipping containers? Anyway, then we got off and had a great day out...
 
I have had a dreams about Alton Towers but I'm always in bloody queues and ever actually doing anything! Arrrr! :p

Although last night I dreamt I was at Chessington on a school trip (even though I live nowhere near Chessington and have finished school now as weel :p ) and we were going around on Vampire. One of the cars fell off with one of my friends in it. :eek: Funnily enough, the trains were the old bat shaped ones, even though I never saw them as I only visited Chessington for the first time this year.

Weird! :p
 
I remember very well a dream that I had. My dad and I were riding corkscrew for the last time before it closed, it somehow had a vertical lift-hill and vertical drop, before going through one corkscrew and finishing.

Weird.
 
My last one was based around visiting The Sanctuary for the first time. Instead of being set in the Towers, it was set in a large box warehouse, and there were about 30-40 rooms in a grid style layout, each person having their own freedom to explore the maze. The only entry to the maze however, was through the wall of a toilet cubicle? ??? And it was also incredibly easy to get lost and not find the exit. That surely isn't very good for throughput.
 
Danny, the warehouse probably comes from the fact that there are so many containers and metal sheds at Merlin attractions. :p

Before I start, you need to know I work in transport at a college.
Now to the dream

I am walking past the Coach/minibus stops at my local bus station. there is a shipping container on wheels there, I take a closer look and see it has a part faded Operators disk (passenger carrying licence).
As i look at the disk trying to work out the zone name I get dragged into the darkness of the container, it moves, rocks and rolls like its driving along the road.

It stops, as a gap appears I can see Shrewsbury Bus Station (next bus station down A5 to my town). As the next passenger enters, I see i am not alone. there are 6 other and a ginger cat on a shelf in front of us.

As darkness falls in the container, only the eyes and mouth of the cat can be seen, Yellow and white turning into the SW7 logo. when there is a faint light in the corner we head to it, to arrive in the batching are of Nemesis sub terror.

 
After reading The Watchers: A Mystery At Alton Towers, when I was younger I had many dreams about the Towers.

Mostly about being locked in at night and exploring in the dark :D
 
Its been a while since I've had an AT related dream, so I can't fully remember them. They usualy consist of me trying to get on a ride then somehow not managing to get on it for one reason or another. Usualy coasters.

For instance, I might be queuing up for nemesis, getting excited, reaching the station, then my dream fades before I manage to ride it.

Anyone else had these sort of dreams?

Yeah, it's always a disappointing moment when you wake up and realise it was all a dream. It occurred once when I had a dream about Nemesis, however the loop had been removed for maintenance. Just as I got onto the train I woke up. :p

I had one tonight where I was at the bottom of Towers Street with a crowd watching me and a buckin bronco, in the shape of a aeroplane which followed a short track. Then I woke up. Lucky I didn't fall over! :p

I have lots of dreams about Alton Towers, only the park in my dreams is never like the real thing. It'll always be called Aton Towers, and have one or two familiar attractions, but the rest of the place will be very different. In last nights dream, for example, the hotel was HUGE and had a Sainsbury's in the lobby. Other dreams I've had about the Towers have included a tube station, a Top Gear ride, Oblivion being built over a canyon (oddly, not diving down into the canyon, but the whole ride was just suspended over it. Not much different to what it is in reality), and so many weird and wonderful coasters.
 
The last Alton Towers dream I had was extremely strange, Nemesis' queue was indoors in mutiny bay and was all completely in a canyon in the ground, however I was a single rider and as I got on the ride started and I couldnt pull my belt down, this resulted in me falling into loads of red water where I was stuck for the rest of the dream which felt like forever!
 
I had a dream where I was riding on Air. It was a straight track and just went up and down. Whenever the ride got close to the ground, the restraints would open and you had to run across the ground and hop back into the seat and close the restraints. The just kept going on and on...
 
I had another dream about Alton Towers last night. It was about SW7 - it was called Delirium, and it's 'secret element' was that it made you go into this weird dark room and take a pop quiz. To be fair, it was a world first.
 
I had a dream when Merlin were kicked out of owning Alton Towers and some more experience company (don't know who though) bought the park, and thus, was restored to all it's glory...

...

Then I woke up. :(
 
I had a dream that Alton Towers had moved to Shrewsbury (20 mins away from me) had the same rides but was run by a partnership between John Broome and Tussauds.

The magic was there, so was Herry hound. and car parking was free.
 
Just going to copy paste what I've put on a social network:

"So, within the dream space of half an hour that was me initially waking at 7 and then re-awakening at 7:30, I've entered Alton Towers on Opening Day 2013, queued at the entrance of SW7 for 45 minutes, got front row and absolutely loved it.
Whilst this may further sketch me in as a future SW7 fanlady, I've got to consider that 1. The rollercoaster was not the same layout as it was on the plans but still had the inversions within a large building, 2. The queue was basically a cattlepen then a steel staircase so station was outside, 3. It had Intamin trains instead of Gerstlauer, 4. It was not in X-Sector.
Therefore in conclusion, I've not dreamed about the REAL SW7 but instead found a dissimilar rollercoaster (it rode like Th13teen) and plastered it with the theme. Not sure if expectations or denial of Gerstlauer."

I'm not entirely sure what just happened to me.
 
My dream from last week: I was talking to Chris like I normally do at the exit to Blivvy then my ex grabbed me from behind when Chris wasn't looking gagged me and threatend that if anyone came near him including chris he would shoot/stabe them. I was crying out to Chris telling him not to worry and that I loved him and in the end I managed to over power my ex and he fell over the railings on the exit bridge at Blivvy where he fell to his death. I woke up crying from this one.
