He's been scammed if so - mine was a 62 plate. Though if someone has gone to the effort to convert it to an auto they've probably put a lot of work in all round

Not really. . .nearly all cars come in both manual and auto options now. .Down side with passing automatic test is you are limited on what you can drive.
That's pretty good going Matt. Believe it or not, for such a thicko, I normally get to 25% plus.Very minor, I know… but after weeks of playing The 1% Club with my family, I finally got to the 1% question this evening!
I didn’t have a clue on the 1% question itself, mind you, but given my previous record was 15% or 20%, I’m taking getting there alone as a huge win!
It is so variable depending on the week’s questions for me. I normally get at least far enough to be able to use my pass (so at least 50%), but I’d say my normal elimination point is somewhere between 35% and 50%. My previous record was elimination at 15% or 20%, even if I have known lower percentage questions after that. That's pretty good going Matt. I can’t quite believe I’m writing this, but I got 85/100 in my final undergraduate degree dissertation!
There were a few odd bits in the marking rubric that I was confused by (most notably a mark of 14/13 in one category), but when I asked my supervisor about them, she said that they were just oddities with the marking sheet and that they wouldn’t change the mark, so I’ve attained 85 regardless!
I was really doubting myself about my dissertation and would have been very pleased with anything over a 70, so I have to admit that 85 was beyond my wildest expectations!
