Bellewaerde Park: General Discussion

There have been some great looking trains lately. The Swarm’s and Wodan’s are still my personal favourites but these are certainly up with the best.

Plus I agree with Sam, this looks like a great addition for the park. That pre-lift section reminds me of Legoland's Dragon (Hardly surprising as Zierer have produced a few of them) which as far as I'm concerned is a good thing for this type of ride.

Looks like a great little family coaster. Even better considering the great looking theming. I agree it would be nice to see something like this at a small UK park, rather than the dire offerings that are usually just plonked in fields or on tarmac.

Soo, Bellewaerde park has posted this picture in the constructuon album on their
Facebook Page.

It shows the layout of the dark-ride portion of the attraction, showing that the ride will travel through various different elements, these include, Water, Fire, Mist and Wind. I don't know about you, but to me, it seems very Valhalla ;)

Anyway, these following images have been posted over on Coaster Force by Member KristofWB and they came from the website Pretparkkriebels, a Belgian fan-site, who have an interesing article, from a backstage/press event! The images show the concept art for the various rooms, and I have to say, they look stunning!! Seriously, if the park pull the theming off, well the ride is going to be fantastic!!

Times like this you wonder what the hell the British parks ACTUALLY spend their money on...

Employing slow, overpaid and underpar construction crews? Second hand rubbish going by Knightmare, Infusion etc.

More pics once again have been posted by the park. The outside bit of track looks almost finished, and work on the themed sections is continuing. :)

The amount of detail going into this is brilliant. :)

Forgive me, but although I do think this looks like a fantastic attraction for such a park, and I am keenly following it, the praise for the train is a little over the top? Sure, it's well themed - but it's hardly some kind of work of genuis, never found before. It's nice, but nothing more.

:)

If they sort out the lighting then this ride could be spectacular!

LookS to me like the indoor section is still unfinished if that's what you mean by the lighting. I expect this part to be themed heavily, still looks like half a building site to me :)

Another update. Themeing continues.
